Improves asset and inventory management capabilities with reliable data for a managed service provider

A leading managed service provider, managing IT assets for a global customer base of more than 250 customers lacked visibility of their asset environment. They were using a variety of traditional discovery tools and manual methods to record data which were unfit for the purpose of tracking and managing assets in the IT environment.

To ensure that only the highest quality of data was fed into the asset management software, DRYiCE ROAR (ROAR) was implemented. It consumed data from different sources for each of the customers to reconcile this data and create a single source of truth about the client’s IT environment called the golden datasets. The golden datasets obtained from the reconciliation process provided an accurate and current inventory of customer assets.
