Overview

DRYiCE iAutomate provides Intelligent Runbook Automation capabilities for automating the IT Operations resolution lifecycle, specifically for incidents, service request tasks and change request tasks. It leverages Machine Learning (ML) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) capabilities for understanding most common / repetitive issues, recommends most relevant solutions and even resolves them autonomously.

Release 6.0.1 focusses on various new features, enhancements and performance improvements for some of the core services.

New Features and Enhancements

Following are the newly launched features and functionalities as part of DRYiCE iAutomate v6.0.1:

Event Driven Auto-Remediation

  • Extends the scope to event driven automation by virtue of direct integration of Event Management tool with iAutomate, in absence of an IT Service Management tool
  • Enables resolution of singleton alert-based events as well as situations with Probable Root Cause identified

  • BMC Remedyforce for IT Service Management for Incident resolution
  • Moogsoft for event-driven automated remediation


Dashboard Enhancements

  • New report showcasing the stage-wise ticket resolution failures for better visibility

SaaS-based & Self-Service driven Ticket Analysis Module Enhancements

  • Ability to download the ticket dump uploaded for current / past analysis, for reference purposes


UI/UX Enhancements

  • Provision to view the detailed listing of all the inventory runbooks


Component Enhancements

  • Added support for updating the work notes upon ticket resolution, directly via iAutomate


  • Detailed Logging enabled for better troubleshooting
  • Support for LDAPS (secure LDAP)


  • Support for purging of data for Service Request Tasks and Change Request Tasks


Web-based & Security Enhancements

  • Upgrade of jQuery to latest version 3.5.1
  • Upgrade of Bootstrap to latest version 3.4.1
Bugs and Fixes
  • Fixed the issue while showing the analysis data from history tables for environment analysis
  • Fixed issues related to hyperlinks not appearing for some tickets on Knowledge Assistant page due to some specific data issue
  • Modifications made in the Regex code to fix the issue while creating a new organization
  • Changes made to the Release service to ensure that handshake is complete between components only when it is able to decrypt the message
